Dominic has broad experience in health
economics and outcomes research, including budget impact analysis, cost-effectiveness
analysis, clinical trials data analysis, and health litigation.
His specialty is budget impact analysis
using either claims data or an epidemiological approach. He has conducted
numerous retrospective analyses using large American private payer
databases. In addition, he has a strong programming background with
expertise in creating statistical models. Dominic has supported successful projects in
diverse therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular disease, diabetic
neuropathy, macular degeneration, and oncology. He has a deep
understanding of international markets, having worked on Canadian,
American, and European assignments.

Véronique specializes in health economics and
applied econometrics.
She has managed statistical and economic analyses of insurance claims and
health-related surveys in support of health outcomes research. She has
analyzed the drug, medical and workplace cost of various illnesses,
managed multiple budget impact analyses, and has also performed the
analysis of many clinical trial data. Particularly, she has worked on a
broad range of illnesses including anaemia, diabetes, depression,
Alzheimer Disease, and obesity.

Mark is a
medical writer and editor with decades of experience in the biomedical
field.
His recent projects include research, writing, review and
editing of global value dossiers, peer-reviewed publications, slide
presentations, and budget impact and cost-effectiveness model reports.
Previously, he served for over 3 years as Managing Editor at IC Axon,
managing the content development of innovative e-learning, live
training, and print-based educational materials for clients in the
pharmaceutical industry; he also supervised the medical writer team.
Prior to this position, Mark was Senior Research Application
Associate at BioMedCom Consultants, where he developed biomedical
communications projects for clients in industry and academia, with a
strong focus on pharmacoeconomics. Over his medical writing career, he
has built expertise in virtually all therapeutic areas, including
oncology, cardiovascular disease, rheumatology, urology, neurology and
psychiatry. Mark has also lectured in biostatistics and
experimental methods at McGill University.

Dr. Jacques Le Lorier got his
medical degree at the University of Mexico. He spent 7 years in
Minnesota where he obtained a PhD in Pharmacology and Biostatistics and
completed a residency in internal medicine.
He
moved to Montreal where he became Assistant Director of the Clinical
Pharmacology Department at Ayerst Laboratories. In 1974, he became
member of the Pharmacology Department of the Faculty of Medicine of the
University of Montreal and of the Department of Medicine of the Hotel-Dieu
Hospital. He founded the Medical Obstetrics Department at Salnte-Justine
Hospital and the Clinical Pharmacology Service at the Hotel-Dieu
Hospital.
From
1985 to 1991, he chaired the Departments of Medicine of the Hotel-Dieu
Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal. In
1979, he became member, and from 1987 to 1996, President of the
Advisory Council on Drugs of the Ministry of Health of the Government
of Quebec.
Since
January 1993: Head of the Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomy
Research Unit at the Research Centre of the Hotel-Dieu Hospital. In
1998 he became Director, and for the year 2001, President of the
International Society for Pharmaco-Epidemiology.
Member of the Honorary
Editorial Board of Journal of Clinical Epidemiology, Journal of
Evaluation in Clinical Practice and Current Drug Safety
Since
January 2009: President of the Scientific Committee -
